BIM Management Services

BIM Management Services comprises of four stages:

 

Stage 1 – Pre-design & Preparation

 

  • Provide a general introduction to Building Information and modeling process and techniques to the client and the project team.

  • Provide general understanding of the Design model.

  • Advise on recommended software purchases, installation and configuration, manage the selected BIM collaboration systems, such as Autodesk 360 and Panzura, to manage the distribution, versioning, access and security of the project BIM throughout its development, and provide global support to the contracting teams to access the project BIM.

  • Provide or organize some limited training as necessary for project teams to participate in the production of the Construction BIM model, file transfer requirements, first project setup, project support contact for all consultants and subcontractors, establishment of project, deadlines, output requirements

 

Stage 2 – Design

 

  • Create BIM processes, standards and specification tenderers for construction of asset

  • Define the BIM Implementation and BIM Execution Plans

  • Document strategy including workflows and processes

  • Deploy full time or part time BIM teams depending on the project requirements

  • Participate in design review meetings

  • Relay BIM Strategy to project team

  • Review consultant BIM capabilities

  • Deploy technology

  • Align milestones and benchmarks and assure they are met

  • Prepare BIM delivery documents for submission at milestones

  • Consultant model audits

  • Assist in preparing clash detection models and reports, site logistic models & reports, subcontractor/ trades management reports and estimating reports from live information

  • Attend clash detection meeting, define collaboration techniques, define expectation from consultant and sub-consultant, review collaboration model, review analytical data and create a coordination strategy

  • Create templates that will assist the consultants in creating trade packages within the design models

  • Audit consultants and construction companies for data integrity at key points to maintain integrity of models

 

Stage 3 – Tender

 

  • Define Protocols for BIM Based Tender submission

  • Creating Pre-Scoping models for tendering

  • Represent stakeholders at tender meetings

  • To be included as a BIM consultant

  • Producing tender reports form BIM files

 

Stage 4 – Construction

 

  • Implement BIM in a defined, intentional and structured process

  • Quality audit BIM documentation and validate BIM workflow

  • Quality audit and validate BIM model

  • Align technology

  • Audit new technology to ensure compatibility with overall BIM processes

  • Audit consultants and construction companies for data integrity at key points to maintain integrity of as-built models

  • Coordinating BIM files between consultants and sub-contractors

  • Review BIM deliverables for aligning project reviews and project phasing milestones

  • Construction sequencing

  • Trade and work area sequencing

  • High level fit out sequencing

  • Major Equipment install sequencing

  • Data Mapping to live models

  • Visual logistics planning

  • Crane etc. reach, wind etc. analysis

  • Site facilities set out analysis

  • Bespoke Site request assistance

  • Assist in preparing clash detection models and reports, site logistic models & reports, sub-contractor/trades management reports and estimating reports from live information

  • Manage the as built handover model process
